Stopped at Episode 4

Ignoring the back story and treat it as a parallel Isekai world of old Japan is actually feeling far more logical than considering all the "ifs" of the future
However, using the laziest way to explaining the story by narration and a subtitle of "n years later" are simply making it very difficult to have any empathy on the characters or the situation they are facing.

In my opinion, the first episode is great to build up the protagonist's back story and really self explanatory on his motives going to Osaka.
Afterwards the story is simply being too greedy in order to do the Ensemble without quite building up the characters, which make me very difficult to follow.
Giving the fact that there are at least three countries and even Yamato has numerous tensions between characters, keep throwing new characters, putting out new events and fast forwarding the timeline within 4 episode is very tiring for a new audience like me to catch up.

The pace might be better later on I don't know but I just don't feeling right to move on to the next episode. I gave up.
